The ceremony took place in November at Battersea Park Arena, and was organised by Accountancy Age. The judging panel included the chairman of HM Revenue & Customs, the chief executive of the Financial Reporting Council and some of the country’s leading finance directors.
Judges’ comments included the following: "Mamut has scooped the Small Business Software Award for the second year in a row, an amazing achievement for the company that launched in the UK early in 2004. Once again, Mamut scored well across the award's criteria. It is still a good product that's now established itself. It scored highly on design quality, ease of use and increased functionality since last year. Top marks."
On winning the award Alan Moody, Managing Director UK and Ireland, commented: “Since launching in the UK in 2004 our position in the market has gone from strength to strength. Achieving this accolade two years in a row is testament to our ability to make enhancements to our software by taking UK customer comments on board and understanding their changing needs and requirements.”
Mamut Enterprise is a user-friendly package, which combines accounting, CRM, project management, logistics, HR and e-commerce and is designed specifically for businesses with up to 50 employees. It can be seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Office, to provide an all-inclusive solution to manage and integrate all areas of the small business.
