Mamut Home Standard gives your family full overview
Mamut Home Standard includes the main menus ’Family’, ’Home and property’, ’Car, Boat and Motor’, 'Travel and Leisure', 'Fitness' and 'Diet'.
In Family, you can maintain information about your family, and register details concerning individual family members. These details could include information on activities, contacts, possessions, loans, savings, documents, and links which the individual wishes store and keep safely in one place.
You can add to the Home and property module all the houses, flats, holiday homes and plots of land for which you are responsible. Addition and editing of information relating to your properties is done with the help of a wizard. For each property, you can register information concerning contacts, documents, contracts, furnishings, mortgages and rooms within the property. Each property is registered by address, but in addition you can register everything from the purchase price and date of construction to the number of smoke alarms you have.
In the module Car, Boat and Motor, you can register everything from service contracts and colour codes for paint to details of accessories and previous owners. Ownership of a car carries with it much responsibility. Insurance, servicing and maintenance demand a large amount of attention, and there are many issues to keep track of. When was your car last serviced? How old are the tyres? If you get a scratch on your paintwork, it is useful to know the colour needed for the repair. You can register as many vehicles as you wish, and add information relating to the terms of purchase, insurance papers, and user manual etc., so that you can have all the information relevant to your vehicle available in one place.
The Travel and Leisure module allows you to register all your holidays and travel destinations, including information about the route, airlines, travelling companions, hotels, activities and relevant costs related to the journey. "We had such a good time at that hotel in Stockholm - but what was it called?" You can use this module to record details of all your holidays and destinations, including the route you took, airlines, travelling companions, hotels, activities and associated costs.
In Fitness you can register information about your personal training. This includes recording exercises, training programs and performance statistics for the exercises. You can also print out a training program and training diary with a list of exercises by day, or print the exercise archive itself. To build up a training program, you need several exercises. The exercises that you create here will be available to all family members. Each exercise is added to a specific day of the week. Based on the start date and end date of the training program, a complete program is generated that tells you which exercises are to be done on a daily basis. You can also keep a log of each completed session, including a description of any results and goals achieved.
In the Diet module you can register recipes, menus, diets and shopping lists that apply to your family. You can also register what and how much you bought in connection with the last children’s birthday, in terms of food, drink, napkins, candles, etc. You can register the ingredients that are used in each individual recipe, how long it takes to prepare the dish and how to prepare it. When registering the number of portions and ingredients, the program will be able to calculate how much you need to buy if you are shopping based on a recipe. You can also register everything you have bought in connection with events like Christmas dinner, children’s parties and so on. It can be useful to keep this information until the next party, at which point it will help you with your planning.
You can register diets that apply either to the whole family or to individuals, and also create shopping lists and, by selecting a recipe and entering the number of portions, you can calculate the quantities you need to buy. This relies on you having entered the correct quantities and units in the recipe.
A good overview over all activities, agreements and duties
All activities are presented in day, week and monthly overview. This calendar gives a good overview over all activities, appointments and tasks you or your family has. It is only your fantasy that restricts what type of information you would like to input into this program. By collecting all your information in one place you can avoid searching in different places for important information. In addition to keeping an overview in the program you can also print out the information either as detailed reports or overview lists e.g. which tasks one has, inventory which is registered in each property or all contact information to do with people connected with your different properties. There will be regular updates with new functions which will make the program even more useful.
