Mobile workers

A Plumber starts his day logging on to his mobile solution via his PDA. He checks his appointments, notes and the products he needs to complete his first job of the day.

During the job, the plumber finds he needs some other products which he has on his van. Using his PDA connecting to his office, he adds these products to the appointment and checks the new total cost to the customer of these parts. Once finished, he marks the job complete and adds his time to the appointment. He is then able to advise the total cost of the job to the customer who signs directly onto the PDA screen.

Back at base, the administrator sees the job is carried out and creates a sales order from the appointment. She then transfers the order to the ERP system and does the same with the time registration, meaning the job is ready for invoicing and the time registration is logged for the purpose of payroll. She also updates the warehouse and van stock according to the products that were sold.

Because of Mamut One the plumber maximises efficiency while travelling.
