Mamut develops Small Business Concierge Online with Microsoft | Oslo, Norway – 21 November, 2006 – Mamut ASA (OSE “MAMUT”) today announce Small Business Concierge Online, a new online initiative based on the Small Business Concierge initiative introduced by Mamut and Microsoft Corporation in June 2004. |
Small Business Concierge Online is an ambition to offer all-inclusive business software solutions for small businesses in Europe with up to 50 employees. The initiative is based on a joint effort from Mamut and Microsoft to integrate user-friendly business software, with value added services all at an economical price to meet the unique needs of the smaller business.
The Small Business Concierge Online initiative will include Hosted Exchange, Sharepoint Services, Microsoft Office 2007 and Mamut Business Software. Mamut will seek to include services in addition to the Microsoft Office Live initiative, in which Mamut is already recognised as an Early Adaptor Program Partner.
Mamut’s ambition is to become the biggest provider of Hosted Exchange for the SME segment in the European countries it operates based on the recently acquired Internet hosting company Active 24. Many small businesses are increasingly demanding fully integrated solutions that can be provided through flexible delivery methods; either hosted locally by the SME, centrally by Mamut or by an ASP partner.

Acceptance of software on demand and hosted applications is gathering momentum among the European SMEs. Combined with the upcoming launch of Windows Vista, Microsoft Office 2007 and numerous other online applications, this initiative will represent a technological shift and enable European SMEs to embrace the opportunities created by Microsoft and its partners.
