News and enhancements in version 15
Version 15.0 Mamut Business Software and version 4 of Mamut Online Desktop is now released and available for download. We are proud to present a number of improvements to this version, mostly based on feedback from our customers.

New Design
In Mamut Business Software version 15.0 a new desktop design has been introduced, with new desktop, module icons and flow chart diagrams. This new design features a modern colour scheme, and has been designed to be more comfortable for the user to work, with even after long periods.

Online Quotations and Project Register
You can now look up, edit, or create new quotations anywhere, and at any time via Mamut Online desktop. Quotations can be printed as PDF files. The new online Project Register allows you to create, edit and delete projects online. You can create and find projects in the Contact Work Area in Mamut Online Desktop. Data is continuously synched with your locally installed Mamut Business software, therefore you will always have the same updated information on the road and in the office. Read more

New e-commerce module (webshop)
The e‐Commerce module has been significantly improved. The website and webshop have been moved to a more advanced and modern platform, Microsoft® Windows Azure®.

Flexible order module
We have made the sales order module considerably more flexible. You can now move the product lines up and down, add sub totals and edit the structure directly in the sales order. Read more

New Mamut Point of Sales
With the new edition of Mamut Point of Sales it is now possible to have up to 5 points of sale connected to the same Mamut Business Software installation. Read more

New filter wizard
You can now create a filter to retrieve a list of customers who have or have not purchased a specific product or product group during a defined period. Read more |

Early payment discount
A new column has been added to the incoming and outgoing payment windows, where the early payment discount is shown and can be adjusted. Read more |

News in version 14.5 (previous version)
Version 14.5 of Mamut Business Software and version 3.5 of Mamut Online Desktop was launched in the summer of 2011. Below you will find more information on news and enhancements in this version.

Online Sales Module
With online access to the Order module, you now have the ability to create, read and edit orders over the Internet. All changes are synchronised continuously with your local Mamut installation, so that everyone has access to the same updated information. A perfect solution for those who are often out and about. Fixed price in foreign currency
New pricing functionality allows you to define a fixed retail price of your products in different currencies. The system automatically calculates the difference in margin between the standard price and exchange rate you enter, making it easy to set an accurate price in local currency. You can easily adjust prices for a selection of products in each currency for the future. Read more

Easier handling of Product bundles
If you use Product bundles, ie products that are composed of other products, you will find many improvements in this new version. You can now remove components of a product bundle directly on a single sales order by using the "Extract components" button. Read more |

Column Settings
The system will now remember the width and positioning of columns in most of the modules for each user. In addition, the sorting criteria is remembered the next time a window is opened.

Improved Cash VAT handling
The solution used for handling of Cash VAT has now been improved and is now even easier to use. Two new system accounts have been added, which the new solution uses as interim accounts for posting VAT amounts when a sales order or purchase order is created. Please read this article before updating.

Intrastat reporting
The Intrastat module is now even more user friendly and better integrated with other modules. You can define which columns to show and have the possibility to print a simple reconciliation report. New buttons have been added so you can quickly access corresponding modules. Read more |

Support for more browsers
Mamut Online Desktop now has better support for multiple browsers, including Safari and Chrome (as well as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera). Adjustments have also been made to ensure Mamut Online Desktop works better on devices with smaller screens. |
