Getting started for Administrators

Step 1: Become a Mamut One customer.

Microsoft Office 365 is part of Mamut One, and costs nothing extra.

Step 2: Register your domain name.

In order to be able to use Microsoft Office 365, you must register a domain name that the services are linked to. The domain name is included in Mamut One. You can either register a new domain or transfer your existing domain to us.

You can register here: www.mamut.co.uk/office365/getstarted and you will be contacted by one of our customer consultants to assist with registration.

P.S. As Mamut One customer, you also get access to the Windows / Linux hosting and Microsoft SQL and mySQL database, so you can publish your website.

Step 3: Access myMamut.

Your Microsoft Office 365 account is activated through myMamut.

If you do not already have access to myMamut you will receive an e-mail to create a Mamut ID.

Read more about how to create a Mamut ID.

Step 4: Log into myMamut to enable the Office 365, and create user # 1.

See video on how to activate Microsoft Office 365.

Step 5: Create multiple users in myMamut.

You can create multiple users through account management in myMamut. You create while Mamut ID for all users.

Each user must verify his Mamut ID via e-mail before they can use their Microsoft Office 365.

See video on how to create Microsoft Office 365 users.

Step 6: Extra information only if you move your domain to Mamut.

Note that if you move your domain to Mamut you can create all Microsoft Office 365 users before you actually move the domain. That way you are assured that all services related to your domain do not go down or disappear.

Step 7: Ready to go!

You can now log onto the Microsoft Online Portal (MOP) and use Microsoft Office 365!

Now you can use Microsoft Exchange Online (e-mail), SharePoint Online (collaboration, document and file sharing, etc.), Office Pro Plus and Office Web Apps (online Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

On our Office 365 Support page you can read how to make use of these products in Microsoft Office 365

The “Get Started”-page from Microsoft and the “jumpstart”-videos from Microsoft contain even more useful information about how to get started with Microsoft Office 365.
