Omni Instruments have been trading for eleven years and serving the U.K and worldwide markets with offices in America and Australia, Omni Instruments has a customer database of about 5000 contacts.
With the business growing Omni Instruments needed a comprehensive software package that would take care of all elements of the business.
“We needed a combined business software package” says Jim Furness, Managing Director of Omni Instruments. After using separate systems that required duplicating the data entry process, it was time for Omni to change software.

Jim immediately saw new opportunities in the way he could run the business. “Previously on our old software there wasn’t enough space to enter in full product descriptions, now on Mamut we can enter in full product descriptions so customers can see exactly what they are getting and what we are quoting. On a whole it has been a huge leap forward for us compared with our previous software,” says Jim.
“Basically it all links together really well, now we can create a sales quote and convert it to a sales order at the click of a button, rather than having to retype everything twice,” says Jim.
By doing tasks more efficiently with the aid of Mamut Enterprise, Omni can now give sales staff the extra time to focus entirely on selling, and not get bogged down in administration.
“It’s value for money software, its functionality is unbeatable compared to others in its price range. Anything else we looked at was three or four times the price, with fewer functions," says Jim on the value of Mamut Enterprise.
